to break the awkward silence...

ok, so i've been doing my animation course at QANTM for 5 weeks now, and it totally ROCKS!!
So i've almost filled up my first visual diary for my MED104 class, and i thought i'd upload a few of the better pictures ive done over the past weeks. i can already see my artwork improving, and cant wait to see it to continue to improve.

anyways, i'm away from home now, living in the big smoke of brisbane. missing home a little, but my mum always pesters me to skype her once a week, so its not that bad. the family i'm staying with are great, so i have little worries about food and the wotnot.

Just wanted to say thanks for offering your critique on my robot image. (I didn't see your critique until I had JUST hit delete to remove the image - I wasn't sure why it was showing up as a print and wanted to repost it) Anyhow, you nailed exactly what is bothering me about the image right away. I'm struggling with the perspective and can't seem to get the legs right.

honestly, vanishing point lines help a lot. his legs looked proportional, just not sitting on the ground a blank background would suggest - good luck in the future.
